Construction work begins today at Glenwood recycling and transfer station, according to the county Public Works department.

Construction work begins today at Glenwood recycling and transfer station, according to the county Public Works department.

Improvements will be made between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on weekdays.

During this construction period please note that rubbish disposal will be moved closer to the entry of the transfer station and roll off bins will be provided.

This temporary location may cause a slight inconvenience and the Solid Waste Division appreciates the public’s patience during this transitional period.

The public is asked to take precautions while entering the station.

Glenwood recycling and transfer station hours of operation are Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Access to will be strictly prohibited to the public on days that the transfer station is closed.
